Getting Started
What is KontentFire?
KontentFire is an AI-powered social media automation platform that helps businesses create, schedule, and publish engaging content across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
How do I create an account?
Visit app.kontentfire.com and click "Sign Up" to create your account. The Free plan needs no credit card — you can start creating posts right away.
Do I need technical skills to use KontentFire?
No technical skills required. KontentFire is designed to be user-friendly with an intuitive interface. Simply connect your social accounts, choose a template, and let AI do the heavy lifting.
How long does it take to set up?
Most users complete setup in under 10 minutes. Connect your social accounts, set your brand preferences, and you're ready to create content.
Do you offer a free plan?
Yes — Free Forever. $0/month, no credit card required, 1 post per week, 1 connected social platform. Upgrade to Spark ($29.99/month) for 100 credits and all connected platforms, or Blaze ($129.99/month) for 500 credits and priority support.

What plans are available?
Three plans: Free Forever ($0/month, 1 post per week, 1 connected platform, no credit card), Spark ($29.99/month, 100 credits, all connected platforms) for solo creators, and Blaze ($129.99/month, 500 credits) for businesses that post every day. See the pricing page for the full feature breakdown.
How do credits work?
Each post you create uses credits — same for every plan. A text-only post is 1 credit. A post with one image is 3 credits (1 for text + 2 for the image). Carousel slides add 2 credits each. Regenerating a post uses another credit. Spark gives you 100 credits a month, Blaze gives you 500. On the Free plan you get 15 credits a month and can top up at $1 per credit any time. Can I change my plan later?
Yes — any time from your account. Upgrades take effect immediately and we prorate the difference. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. You can also cancel and stay on the Free plan from the same screen.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover) through our secure Stripe payment processor. The Free plan needs no payment method at all.
Is there a refund policy?
Payments are not refundable as a rule. If something went wrong with a charge, or you are not happy with KontentFire, email support@kontentfire.com and we will look at it case by case. You can cancel any time, and you are not charged again.
What happens when I run out of credits?
Top up at $1 per credit any time (no minimum, charged instantly), or upgrade to a higher plan for more monthly credits. Your scheduled content will continue to publish — the throttle only blocks NEW content generation.

What does the AI in KontentFire do?
It writes your posts, researches what is current, and makes the images for them.
How many social accounts can I connect?
Free can connect 1 platform. Spark and Blaze can connect all of them — Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. There is no per-paid-plan account-count cap on top of that.
Can I schedule content in advance?
Yes. You can schedule posts up to 90 days in advance, and the calendar shows each week so you can see what goes out when.
What content templates are available?
Seven: Social Media Post, Trending Topic, Behind the Scenes, Tip of the Day, Product Showcase, Engagement Boost and Press Release. Pick one, add your topic, and KontentFire writes the post.
Can I customize the AI-generated content?
Yes. Edit any post you make before it goes out, and save your business details, a tone and three sliders on the Brand tab in Settings. Your edits also teach KontentFire how you write, for the posts your automations make.

Google Business Profile integration is on the roadmap. Today KontentFire publishes to Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn — the platforms that drive the most reach for local service businesses.
What social media platforms work best for home service businesses?
Facebook and Instagram are the top performers for home service businesses. Facebook excels at reaching homeowners in local groups and marketplace, while Instagram is ideal for showcasing before/after project photos. LinkedIn works well for commercial contractors.
AI & Content Quality
Will AI-generated content sound authentic for my business?
Yes. KontentFire lets you set your brand voice, tone, and specific terminology. The AI adapts to sound like your business, not a generic robot. You can review and edit any content before it publishes.
Can AI really understand my specific trade?
KontentFire writes from the industry and the business description you save, so a plumber's posts talk about plumbing and a roofer's about roofs. You can read and edit any post you make before it goes out.
Is AI-generated social media content against platform rules?
No. All major social media platforms allow AI-assisted content creation. The key is that content provides genuine value to your audience, so KontentFire writes from your own business details, and you can read and edit any post you make before it goes out.
How is KontentFire different from ChatGPT for social media?
While ChatGPT is a general-purpose AI, KontentFire is purpose-built for social media automation. It creates platform-optimized posts, schedules them automatically, generates images, and publishes directly to your accounts — all from one dashboard.
What happens if I don't like the AI-generated content?
Edit it, or make a new one: posts you make yourself stay drafts until you schedule them. On the Blaze plan, an automation you set up in the Chat tab holds each draft for your approval; automations made on the Automations page publish on their own. Your edits also teach KontentFire how you write, for the posts your automations make.
Security & Privacy
Is my data secure?
The access keys for the social accounts you connect are encrypted with AES-256 when they are saved, the website and the app run only over HTTPS, your password is stored only as a one-way hash, and card details go straight to Stripe and never reach our servers.
Do you store my social media credentials?
No. We use OAuth authentication provided by each platform. Your passwords are never stored on our servers.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. You can delete your account at any time from your account settings, and your account data is deleted straight away, apart from a record of admin actions on your account and some older images, which we remove on request. Deletion is permanent. Stripe keeps its own record of past payments.
Do you sell user data?
Never. Your data is yours. We don't sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
What rights do I have over my data?
You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or deleted, and object to how we use it. If you are in the EEA or the UK, these are your rights under the GDPR. You can delete your account yourself in your account settings, and for anything else you can email support@kontentfire.com.
